Owen Connolly – Consultant Psychologist

Owen Connolly is a consultant psychologist and marriage and family therapist, in private practice in, Stillorgan, Co Dublin..  He is co-Author of the book Parenting for the Millennium, a best selling book on childcare, and Author of Standing on the Shoulders of Giants – From Father to Dad, a parenting book for fathers. He completed his training in the UK, Ireland, and USA.  He lectures in childcare and parenting and is Chairman of the Nurture Institute of Further Education for Parents, a not-for-profit organisation which runs parenting courses and day-long seminars on fatherhood throughout the greater Dublin area.

Owen has a big interest in seeing those who have suffered stress and trauma in their lives coming to a better understanding of their value and their unique ability to recover and live happy and fulfilled lives. Owen is married to Claire and they live in Dublin.

Owen has two sons, David and Kevin, both married to wonderful American women. David is married to Lea and they have four children, three boys and a girl. Kevin and Allison have three children, a boy and and two girls. Both families live in California giving Owen and Claire the opportunity to enjoy great holidays and lots of quality time with the grandchildren.

When he isn’t working Owen enjoys gardening and holidaying in France with his family.
