Parent

If you have had the joy/pain of giving birth or fathered a child you will experience been a single parent.

By that I mean you are left alone to mind a child/children.

Different types of parents

Silent but active

A simple exercise is to go on a long drive with no stops, armed with just water bottles and oranges. Start eating an orange and occasionally  drinking the water and just see the reaction from the children.

Supportive

Sometimes the strictest parents are not necessarily the closest to their children. Children needs are the same as adults. They need food, TLC, clothes, shelter and support. I don’t know anyone who likes to be told what to do and when to do it. Supportive parents ask for help in house and usually get it.

Shouts and demands respect

Sargent major type, The house is run like a business or boot camp and the needs of the children are sometimes not as important as systems.

Explains everything and treats the child like a friend

This parent talks with children not at them, and this encourages the child to talk the problem out rather than bottling it up.

Treats the child like they know nothing.

Have you ever meet a stupid two year old!

Care free but highlights danger

Children as a rule, will play with anything, however fire and water are dangers they do not understand immediately. A little fairy dress can go on fire in seconds if placed beside a burning candle, or a child can be swept down a stream when it looks calm. Hidden dangers are hard to teach without upsetting the mother.

Parents with issues

Children with issues usually have parents with issues!

All parents treat the second, third, fourth, fifth slightly different.

Life is less stressful, as the numbers increase.

There is one thing for sure, Kids like adults are more interesting, fun, active, assertive, and playful when pair off with someone of a similar nature.
