It will not cost you anything, and Dublin Zoo will be able to have an
nature trail. Two hundred thousand people extra will visit the Zoo / Park.

Please let me know if you do not want extra visitors, the last thing I want

Hi David,

I have received your email back from Margaret Gormley, Park Supt. with the following reply:

Dear Mr. Johnson,

Many thanks for your proposal for a perimeter trail in the Phoenix Park. There is currently a
jogging trail around most of the perimeter of the park (where possible) and we are not
proposing at present to upgrade this to a family trail, as there are a considerable number of
walks available for the public to use, both in open areas and through woodland areas.
Further the terrain is not suitable in many areas for such a surface as you propose and would
require a considerable amount of maintenance which we are not in a position to provide.
The park has an active programme of events at the Phoenix Park Visitor Centre which
encourages users to avail of the many facilities and enjoy biodiversity at its best.

Kind regards,

Margaret Gormley,
Park Supt.

I phoned you regarding the possibility of a walking/nature trail track for the perimeter of the Phoenix Park.

As the OPW look after the management and day to day affairs of the Park, we would love to have your support on this project.

The idea behind such a Trail has advantages for everyone in the state;

If the trail starts and finishes at the Zoo, it will be the biggest Zoo in the world and can be advertised throughout the web as such and will bring footfall into Ireland.

Help families exercise and increase their awareness of wildlife

A unique City attraction within walking distance of James Gate. (The Busiest Tourist venue in Ireland)

We have obtained a sponsor to endorse the Mulsh Track (green clippings from within the walls), no planning permission is required.

I would love to meet with you and Ms Gormley to go through all the details to see if we can make the track happen before the busy tourist season.

Practice is the Key, This photographer has had a lot of Practice.

Top sports people, surgeons, vets, business people, nurses, etc., all have one thing in common, The willing to practice.

Take the average Dad

Sometimes dads can be slobs, but without doubt they influence everyone in the family by the way they work, dress, eat, walk, talk, and interact with the neighbours.

Take the average Mum

Mothers multi task, woman are cool, I entered an office reception yesterday and was greeted by a girl typing an email while talking on the phone. If that was a man receptionist, he would finish the call, then greet me and only after I left the room would he start typing. If you ever want anything done, just ask a busy person, a mum.

Woman can take up new tasks and improve all the time with guess what, Practice.

Why do woman have a different pay scale downwards?

Take the average Daughter

Make-up, hygiene, clothes, school work, sleepovers, exercise, eating, family events, etc., all improve with Practice.

Take your average Son

What you see is what you get, but what ever they do, they get better with Practice.
